Sydney jockey Hugh Bowman was has suspended by Racing NSW Stewards yesterday at Gosford for careless riding. Bowman, who has been in red-hot form recently, pleaded guilty to the Careless Riding charge and was suspended from August 8 until August 13. Pearson cleared to ride
Pearson was disqualified by Racing NSW stewards for not permitting the Gai Waterhouse trained No Penalty to run on its merits when second at Rosehill on October 30. Pearson was subsequently handed a 10 month disqualification . Should Pearson comply with conditions set out by Racing NSW, he can resume riding in trials and trackwork from August 10th.
