AJC Derby winner Starcraft will be chasing the Champion Miler of Europe title when he takes on Queen Elizabeth II Stakes winner Rakti a five time Group 1 winner and the Irish 2000 Guineas winner Dubawi at Newmarket on Saturday.
Starcraft, who won the Prix du Moulin at Longchamp early this month could be partnered by Australian jockey Kerryn McEvoy should he not be required by the Godolphin stable.
Godolphin trainer Saeed Bin Suroor said Dubawi, who is expected to go to America for the Breeders’ Cup Mile, “We are really happy with him, he’s in good form and ready to run.”
The three-year-old is all the rage with bookmakers ahead of Rakti and Starcraft who is the third elect.
