Stanislas Wawrinka vs Nicolas Almagro – They played a great five setter at the Davis Cup earlier this year, with “Stam” coming out on top. Their other three previous meets have ended in maximum of sets too so expect this one to go to a Three Set Match at $2.22.
Paul-Henri Mathieu vs Victor Hanescu – Hanescu is winning hard court matches while Paul’s lost in the first round of his last 4 tournaments. Bet on Victor to win at $1.95.
Taylor Dent vs Feliciano Lopez – Serve and volley fest, should be a spectacular game but the left-handed Spaniard should win easily. Dent is able to make the surprise only if Lopez does not play up to his standard. Bet on Feliciano to win.
Juan Monaco vs Thiemo De Bakker – It’s tough to come back from injury and perform well but Juan has defeated De Bakker at the Davis Cup last year and should be able to win again. Bet on Juan to win at $2.80.
Radek Stepanek vs Viktor Troicki – Stepanek is in horrible shape and one of the most obvious signs of this is his service. This is a very friendly 1st round for Troicki. Bet on Viktor to win at $1.50.
Sam Querrey vs Philipp Petzschner – The German won their only previous match in straight sets last year. Now Sam is in much better form but this match can get long and tight. Bet on 3 Set Match at $2.65.
David Ferrer vs Alexandr Dolgopolov – I don’t see Ferrer losing this first round, the Spaniard might have just an edge but Dolgopolov is a great player and will surely give David a real fight. Bet on 3 Set Match at $2.40.
Michael Berrer vs Tommy Robredo – Robredo has a bad record versus net rushers and is out of form losing three of his last four matches. The German knows this and will fight hard and come to the net. Bet on Michael to win at $2.60.
Jurgen Melzer vs Santiago Giraldo – This is a bet mainly against Giraldo, who has almost forgotten how to win a single match. His only win in five matches was against Ilhan and he even lost to 1-6, 0-6 against Tipsarevic. Bet on Jurgen to win.
Sergiy Stakhovsky vs Andy Roddick – Roddick won their only previous meeting 6-2, 6-1 in Miami this year and I don’t see any reason why the same outcome will not happen today. Bet on Andy to win in straight sets at $1.68.
Thomaz Bellucci vs Benjamin Becker – Bellucci has much more talent than his opponent so the left-handed Brazilian is the favorite in this match. Bet on Thomaz to win.
Robby Ginepri vs Somdev Devvarman – Ginepri has plenty of talent and Devvarman is a good fighter. With the support of the home crowd, the American should prevail even after a possible long and exhausting match. Bet on Robby to win.
