2010 US Open (Women) Betting Tips:
Sabine Lisicki vs Vera Zvonareva – Lisicki won first found but has lost in the first round at last four tournaments and the last two matches in straight sets. This is as far as she can go. Bet on Vera to win in straight sets at $1.35.
Caroline Wozniacki vs Kai-Chen Chang – Chang met Wozniacki at Wimbledon this year and played well despite losing 6-4, 6-3. There’s good odds on Kai-Chen to win a set so bet on Caroline to win 2-1 at $7.50.
Iveta Benesova vs Maria Sharapova – Sharapova lost the first set in her previous match against Groth and she doesn’t look too consistent at this stage and could struggle a bit against Benesova in the second round. Bet on Maria to win 2-1 at $6.50.
Svetlana Kuznetsova vs Anastasija Sevastova – These two girls has met each other exactly in the same round last year and Kuznetsova won 6-4, 6-2. Sevastova hasn’t improved since then so bet on Svetlana to win in straight sets at $1.37.
Jelena Jankovic vs Mirjana Lucic – Jankovic has hopefully learned a lesson in her previous match against Halep, when she was so close to being sent home. Bet on Jelena to win in straight sets at $1.45.
Aravane Rezai vs Beatrice Capra – Nobody believed Capra can win in the first round and the wild carded American did it. The Frenchwoman is surely the better player but is a little too unstable to win in straight sets. Bet on Aravane to win 2-1 at $6.25.
Bethanie Mattek-Sands vs Andrea Petkovic – Mattek-Sands is playing her best tennis in singles competitions right now, nearly defeating Clijsters a few weeks ago. She has also much more experience than here opponent, Petkovic. Bet on Bethanie to win at $1.87.
Julia Goerges vs Yanina Wickmayer – The Swiss girl, last year semi-finalist, has defeated Goerges last two times they met in straight sets, both times on hard courts. Goerges is in better form right now but not good enough to send Wickmayer home. Bet on Yanina to win at $1.42.
Akgul Amanmuradova vs Kaia Kanepi – A tight match between two girls with fantastic power in their games and this could be a tight encounter. Still Kanepi should have some tactical advantages and I am confident she can win here. Bet on Kaia to win at $1.42.
Dominika Cibulkova vs Kateryna Bondarenko – Cibulkova is the clear favorite in my eyes. She played against Bondarenko once before on US hard courts and won 6-2, 6-3. This could be closer but still bet on Dominika to win at $1.91.
Yung-Jan Chan vs Tamira Paszek – The Austrian is the favorite because she has more power in her game and has impressed in the first round against Safarova, coming back from one set and 4-1 deficit. Bet on Tamira to win at $1.65.
Lourdes Dominguez Lino vs Urszula Radwanska – Radwanska played solid tennis against Chakvetadze in the previous round and now has the chance to play against a weaker opponent. Bet on Urszula to win at $1.73.
Maria Jose Martinez Sanchez vs Patty Schnyder – If a wild card was able to chop up Maria’s second serve, it would be Schnyder the experienced veteran who has played a solid tennis in previous round. Bet on Patty to win at $1.83.
Yvonne Meusburger vs Maria Kirilenko – Yvonne surprised everybody making the second round but now is facing a really strong opponent who has already defeated her twice in straight sets at the first two Grand Slams of the year. Bet on Maria to win in straight sets at $1.30.
Alexandra Dulgheru vs Sofia Arvidsson – The Swedish girl plays the second time in a row against a Romanian. Arvidsson was strong in the previous round, while Dulgheru didn’t impress at all in the first round. Bet on Sofia to win at $1.87.
Agnieszka Radwanska vs Shuai Peng – These two girls have met last two years twice and Peng was able to win a set each time. Bet on Agnieszka to win 2-1 at $6.25.
