AFL 2010 Sydney Swans vs Geelong
Sydney suffered their heaviest loss under coach Paul Roos last Sunday, going down to Melbourne by 73 points. Despite the loss the Swans remain in the top half of the ladder but they face an uphill task to hold onto their place in the top eight as they have an incredibly tough run home which begins with Saturday night’s clash against second-placed Geelong at ANZ Stadium.
The Cats – who bounced back from a shock loss to Adelaide in round 16 with a 63-point mauling of Brisbane last Saturday – have won their past seven against Sydney. The Swans will undoubtedly be fired up for this one but Geelong simply has too much quality on the park – despite the absence of Brownlow medallist James Bartel (ankle) and star mature-age recruit James Podsiadly (general soreness) – to not get the job done.
Back the Cats to win by 1-39 at $2.20.
