Arsenal proved last time out with their victory over Blackburn, that they have added some steeliness to their game and that will again come in handy as they prepare for the visit of Bolton.
Arsene Wenger however, has fresh injury problems ahead of Saturday’s game with both Robin Van Persie and Theo Walcott ruled our through injury. Walcott who was carried off during England’s game with Switzerland is not expected to be out long but the unfortunate Van Persie has been struck down until mid-October. The Dutchman joins Aaron Ramsey and Denilson on the casualty list and leaves the Gunners heavily relying on summer signing Marouane Chamakh for goals to keep their unbeaten start going.
Owen Coyle heads to the Emirates fresh off seeing his team battle from two goals and ten men down to earn a point with Birmingham. The point did come with its price though, as Jussi Jaaskelainen will miss the game through suspension and be replaced by Hungarian Adam Bogdan. Coyle may also be tempted to blood deadline day signing Rodrigo who has signed on a season-long loan from Benfica
Last season: 4-2
Match prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Bolton Wanderers .
