Doncaster Day 2010

The Doncaster Day (Handicap Mile) is run over 1600m and offers a hefty $1.5million in prize money. It’s one of the most anticipated races of the event. But there’s a lot more great racing on the day;

• The Group 1 AJC Oaks (2400m) .
• The Galaxy (1100m) .
• The Group 3 South Pacific Classic (1400m).

Many great horses have won this race, including several who have also won the spring equivalent, the Epsom Handicap, while Super Impose created history in 1990 and 1991 by becoming the only horse to win both races, not only once, but twice!

Past Doncaster winners include Haradasun, Racing To Win, Patezza, Private Steer, Grand Armee, Sunline, Assertive Lad and Over.
