Sydney Cup Day is on Saturday, 23 April at the Royal Randwick.
The Sydney Cup Day will wrap up the 2010 Autumn Carnival. There will be five Group races including the Sydney Cup, Queen Elizabeth Stakes and the Champagne Stakes. In total over $2 million in prize money is on offer and more will be put on betting on the horses, creating an exhilarating atmosphere.
The following day is Anzac Day and to commemorate this significant day, there’s usually a display of memorabilia and other tributes on display throughout the race course.
