AJC Derby
The Australian Derby, or better known as AJC Derby, is a Group 1 thoroughbred horse race run by the Australian Jockey Club (AJC) at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney, Australia. This race is open to three year olds and the race is held annually late in March or early April. The AJC is known as one of the top ranked events for 3-year-olds in Australian and New Zealand racing.
The AJC Derby has been won by the most famous Australian horses including Phar Lap.
